Eight Flora Pettit Lawyers Named “Legal Elite”
Flora Pettit proudly announces that eight of its attorneys have been recognized in the 2021 “Legal Elite” survey conducted annually by Virginia Business magazine. Statewide, only 4.08% or 1,271 lawyers of the approximately 31,151 active Virginia State Bar members were named this year.
Flora Pettit Attorneys Honored
Flora Pettit is pleased to announce that six of its attorneys have been honored by selection for inclusion in the 2021 Virginia Super Lawyers list, a Thomson Reuters business. Four of Flora Pettit’s attorneys have been recognized for inclusion in the “Virginia Super Lawyers” list and two of its attorneys have been named to the “Virginia Rising Stars” list. Super Lawyers annually selects lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement through a rigorous process that includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations. To be selected as a Rising Star, lawyers must either be 40 years old or younger, or have been in practice for 10 years or fewer.

Page Williams has been elected President of the Charlottesville-Albermarle Bar Association for the 2014-2015 term. Seth Ragosta has been appointed Treasurer for this term, and Nancy Schlichting will begin her second year serving on the CABA Board of Directors. The Charlottesville-Albemarle Bar Association is a not for profit professional association established to preserve and improve the legal profession and its services to the people of the Charlottesville-Albemarle community.
