Andrew Stockment Provides Legal Advice to Start-up Businesses at CIC’s Resource Fair

On June 1, 2016, Andrew Stockment volunteered at the Community Investment Collaborative's Business Resource Fair to provide pro bono legal advice to entrepreneurs in the Charlottesville area, where he advised participants about various aspects of operating businesses and protecting their intellectual property. The mission of Community Investment Collaborative (CIC) is to strengthen the Charlottesville community by fueling the success of under resourced entrepreneurs through education, mentoring, micro-lending, and networking. Andrew focuses his legal practice on business lawintellectual property and technology, cybersecurity and data privacy, and securities and private equity. He currently serves on the VBA Intellectual Property and Information Technology Law Section Council as the Young Lawyers Division Representative, and he is the Secretary-Treasurer of the VBA Young Lawyers Division.
