Martha Kidd has worked as a paralegal in Harrisonburg since 1985, focusing on a variety of commercial practice areas including commercial real estate development and financing, tax-exempt financings, mergers and acquisitions, estate planning, general business, and intellectual property. Martha has extensive experience working with clients on matters involving multiple parties and sizable real property holdings, including public companies and their related issues. The more complex the transaction the more Martha enjoys her work, particularly when using her conflict transformation degree to find resolution in seemingly intractable positions. Martha took a two-year sabbatical serving in the US Peace Corps in Lesotho (Southern Africa) from 2001-2003. She is married to Don Kidd, Jr.; they live in and enjoy downtown Harrisonburg.
