Andrew Stockment Presents at the 17th Annual Virginia Information Technology Legal Institute

Andrew Stockment was one of the Virginia CLE faculty who presented the 17th Annual Virginia Information Technology Legal Institute in Fairfax, Virginia on September 30, 2016. Andrew presented the "Technology Law and Trade Secret Developments" segment and was one of the panelists for "Beat the Clock: 40 Quick Tips: IP Practitioners Empty Their Bag of Practice Tricks and Tips". Andrew's topics included:

The Annual Virginia Information Technology Legal Institute is a popular, long-running program that provides updates on the legal developments over the past year in information technology law and related areas of intellectual property law that are most important to practicing attorneys and their clients. It is designed for attorneys practicing in the fields of intellectual property, high technology, computer law, Internet law, outsourcing, e-commerce, and software licensing, development, distribution, and procurement. At last year's 16th Annual Virginia Information Technology Legal Institue, Andrew presented the "Technology Law and Trade Secrets Developments" segment and was one of the panelists for "Beat the Clock: 40 Quick Tips: IP Practitioners Empty Their Bag of Practice Tricks and Tips". Andrew focuses his legal practice on intellectual property and technology, cybersecurity and data privacy, business law, and securities and private equity. He currently serves on the VBA Intellectual Property and Information Technology Law Section Council as the Young Lawyers Division Representative, and he is the Secretary-Treasurer of the VBA Young Lawyers Division.
